Natasha ROTSTEIN

Natasha Rotstein is a native of Kiev, Ukraine who moved to Chicago when she was 9 years old. Her curiosity about Chechnia led her to pursue stories about the lives of Chechens who have resettled in other parts of the world. The reporting resulted in several stories about families in America, France and the Netherlands.
Natasha's journalism career began with an internship at Chicago Magazine shortly after graduating from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She also worked at the Daily Herald and the Northwest Herald before returning to Northwestern University to obtain a master's degree.
She will graduate at the end of the summer of 2006.
